Mountain-Fold in half.

Make sure that open-side is on the top.

Prepare for a valley-fold.

The optimal folding position is a little less than 1/3 from the bottom.

Valley-fold the lower half upward a little less than 1/3.

If I fold at exactly at 1/3, then rose becomes fat and short.

If I fold at close to 1/4, then rose becomes skinny and too tall.

If you experiment with it, then you will know what I am saying.

I found that a little less than 1/3 would be an optimal folding position.

Prepare to unfold the valley-fold that you have just applied.
